Non-equilibrium ionisation and cooling of metal-enriched gas in the presence of a photo-ionisation background
Collisional Non-equilibrium (CINe) and Equilirbium (CIE) tables of Z=0.3 Zsol gas indexed by temperature. Non-equilbrium effects generally do not set in until T<106 K. Included are electron densities, mean molecular weights, cooling times, Lambdanet, and ion fractions. Cooling times assume nH=10-4 cm-3, and scale inversely with density. Both CINe isochoric and isobaric cases are available, as is the CIE case. Our method loses accuracy for the CIE cases at T<104 K. Table units are as follows: temperature (T)- Kelvin, hydrogen number density (nh)- cm-3, cooling time (tcool)- yr, cooling efficiencies (Lambdanet)- erg cm3 s-1 where the total cooling rate, Lambdanet, is divided by nH2.

Collisional Ionised Non-Equilibrium (CINe) Isochoric, Z=0.3 Zsol

Initial T=107.0

Collisional Ionised Non-Equilibrium (CINe) Isobaric, Z=0.3 Zsol
