Non-equilibirum ionisation and cooling of metal-enriched gas in the presence of a photo-ionisation background
Photo-ionised Non-equilibrium (PINe) tables of Z=0.3 Zsol gas at z=0 indexed by temperature. Seven densities (nH = 10^-5.0 - 10^-2.0 cm^-3) are available for eight elements. Temperatures extend up to 10^7 K until the equilibrium temperature where photo-heating balances cooling. Non-equilbrium effects generally do not set in until T<10^6 K. Included are electron densities, mean molecular weights, cooling times, Lambda_net, and ionisation fractions. Isochoric and isobaric cases are available as well. For the isobaric cases, the density listed occurs at T=10^6 K. Photo-ionised equilibrium (PIE, isochoric case) are also tabulated.
